About me

I’m glad you’re here!

I’m so excited to get to know you and learn how God made you unique for His purpose!

On this page, you can learn more about me, my mission, and why I do what I do. I also have a couple ways that you can connect with me. I would love to hear about your walk with Christ and how I can help you grow a deeper relationship with Him!

My Story, His Glory

I accepted Christ when I was five years old. It was a no-brainer; I loved Jesus and when I realized the gift of salvation was something I had to accept, I said “yes! Of course I want that!”, without any hesitation.

But messy churches, bad theology and imperfect believers have a tendency to dull someone’s faith. I was exposed to an emphasis on personal sin and shame, without the accompanying truth that my sins are forgiven. Because of that imbalance in the truths of the gospel, I lived with a lot of self-hatred, guilt and shame. These toxic and incomplete understandings of scripture led to a mental health crisis, and I attempted to end my life in the summer of 2013.

Since that summer, I have worked really hard to understand what happened to me and what God has to say about it. And I’ve come to this conclusion:

Most Christians are not healthy people.

We may go to church, read our Bibles and whisper prayers on our way into work, but we are not healthy people: emotionally, physically, or relationally. And that’s because, we really haven’t surrendered all of ourselves to God. We give Him the “spiritual” part of ourselves, but we won’t give Him a say in our relationships, our eating habits or our thought life. And when we let the devil have a foothold in those areas, eventually, that affects our relationship with God too.

I want to help women become mature in Christ (Col. 1:28), not just on Sundays, but everyday with everything that they are. I want to see God permeate every aspect of the lives of Christian women, and I want to see them share with other women how allowing God to touch their whole lives has changed them.

My mission is to help Christian women become mature Christ followers by providing them with encouragement, wisdom and resources for healthy spiritual growth (Col. 1:28; 2:3).

I hope that you are blessed by this simple truth of the gospel:

We are sinners and we need a Savior to save us from our sin. God provided His Son to be that Savior for us because He loves us and He wants a relationship with us.

We are called God’s “chosen people, holy and dearly loved.” Let’s live everyday like we are Chosen, Holy, and Dearly Loved.

my prayers

I believe everything we do should be covered in prayer. Here are the prayers I pray for myself, my ministry, and for you!

That my ministry would present women mature in Christ. That it would portray the truth and simplicity of the gospel, that it would be encouraging to Christian women on their faith journey, that it would communicate knowledge and wisdom, and that, above all, love would be the foundation of every part of my ministry. (Col. 1:28; 2:2; 3:14)
That the women I reach would be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom in spiritual understanding, so that they may walk worthy of You, fully pleasing to You, bearing fruit in every good work and growing in the knowledge of You. That they would be strengthened with all power, according to Your glorious might, that they may have great endurance and patience, joyfully giving thanks to You who has enabled them to share in the saints’ inheritance in the light. (Col. 1:9b-12)
