the gospel of grace and truth
John 1:14 tells us that Jesus came “full of grace and truth”. God used these same words when He described Himself to Moses in Exodus 34. Grace and Truth are foundational to our lives as believers, but most of us do not understand what it means to live with grace and truth. We tend to embrace one or the other, and this distorts our view of the gospel and our understanding of God.
How can we embrace and live out the grace and truth of Jesus Christ in our daily lives?
showing up well
Most of us live busy, hurried lives. When we’re too busy, we rush from place to place and person to person, without really connecting the way God has made us to connect. We become overwhelmed, irritable, and we miss the small opportunities God has given us to be His hands and feet. A look at 1 Samuel 15 and the story of Saul and the Amalakites gives us new perspective on what it means to show up well and what happens when we don’t.

Have you ever wondered what your calling is? Maybe you know what God has called you to do, but you’re in a season of waiting that’s causing you frustration. Maybe God has recently presented a calling to you that you don’t feel qualified for. Through the story of Moses and its retelling in Acts, we discover how Moses rushed into his calling, backed away from his calling and ultimately accepted his calling and led the children of Israel out of Egypt.

Location
I am located in Northeast Ohio, about 30 minutes east of Cleveland. I am willing to travel for speaking engagements, but the distance I am willing to travel will depend on where I will be traveling to, when the speaking engagement is, etc. Generally, I prefer to speak within the state of Ohio, parts of eastern Pennsylvania and the southern portion of Michigan. If you live outside of those areas but would still like to have me as a speaker, please use the contact form to contact me. I would be happy to try to work something out!
What to Expect
I typically give talks between 15-45 minutes in length. I can also split talks into smaller pieces, do a morning and an afternoon session, or come with prepared with questions for table discussions. We can work together to craft a speaking engagement that works for your unique event and group of women.
Cost
I am currently not charging for my speaking services as I work to build my speaking skills and familiarize myself with the needs of women in the area. This is a great option for small women’s events with low budgets! If you live outside of my typical speaking location, we may discuss a fee to help cover costs of travel, housing, etc.
